The national and state emphasis on Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) or Teams (PLTs) underscores the importance of establishing and supporting profitable communication between teachers in improving student achievement and enhancing teacher effectiveness. Unfortunately, many of our teachers do not have peers within their schools (and often, not even in their school systems) with whom they can communicate and share to support their growth as educators.
