The CMOSS team has adapted two units of the Gateway To Technology middle school curriculum (Automation and Robotics and Design and Modeling) from the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) curricula for use with Moodle in all of the middle schools in the Orange County Schools (OCS) school district. Our Moodle adaptation of the North Carolina Digital Communications Systems course curriculum is also being used in a number of classes in the Orange County School District. Teacher training and support are key elements in these implementations.

CMOSS has also adapted two courses from the Cisco Discovery curriculum (Networking for Home and Small Businesses and Working at a Small-to-Medium Business or ISP) for use with Moodle. These courses are currently being used in schools in the Wake County Public School District.
